We are running a free weekend for KF to get everyone in the festive spirit - runs Thursday 8th December through Sunday 11th December. Bring friends! In fact, you can "give" them Killing Floor free for the weekend and call it your Christmas present to them - everyone wins!

It's a pity, that most of Mac OS users won't be able to try it, because TWI is not working on fixing all the bugs...

True, true and it's great! It surely is! Though, some guest passes would be very nice for the rest of the year; great tool when trying to convince people who have never heard of Tripwire or Killing Floor.

His point is, if you want them to try it then get them to try it while it's free.

Yes, I get that, and a free weekend is really great. Though, having the opportunity to whip out 3 free days, when in a promoting discussion, really gives an edge and helps a lot in convincing someone it's a great game; was in this situation some weeks ago and was out of guest passes.
