nah, just make them afraid to try to exploit.

I'm all for stopping exploits but I'd never agree with pk zones unless they are obviously marked (such as with flames) or for things like falling through the map.

Kinda like how I always see people get so pissed off when the moving train in Tachikawa kills them.

Yea but people should know to stay behind the yellow line ;)

Yes, but that is exactly my point. The yellow line is a warning (of sorts) and gives players a bearing on where not to go.

If the joking suggestion of adding "radioactive" areas to KF-Fallout was acted upon, it should have a visible marking.
That's all I'm saying

I'm all for a discussion on how to stop players from exploiting through the means of killing them if they do, but can we talk about the map instead of that on this thread please. I put blocking volumes around the glitch areas so enough about that. Thx.

If you haven't dled the updated version yet, I recommend doing so! S281's done a good job of capturing the FONV atmosphere in this small, fun map.

-Played in thirdperson of course ;)

Oh, wow..

Oh, wow..

I was directed to this map thru another thread, when i saw it and went "oh, looks fun!"

Now, normally, when testing a map, i play normal, so i don't worry about death or anything, and just run around and look for exploits. I usually quit around wave 5. I PLAYED THIS ALL THE WAY THRU.

This map is gorgeous and fun. My only complaints are the cement cracks tripping me up occasionally, and the fact that only one building can be entered. I want more of a "Zed Axis" on this map.

But great job. I'm very impressed, and will play this one often.

Glad you enjoyed the map. Currently I am just waiting for more static meshes that will allow for z-axis gameplay to be created. As soon as I get more meshes, I will update the map quickly as I already have a good idea of the final layout. If there are any modelers out there who want to create a FONV mesh for me I would be glad to add it in...Nuka Cola bottle anyone? :D
