Just thought i'd put my and my player's views on this map for you. You have now beaten the best map on my server but not only that, I have noticed that maybe only one person had complained about the map (didn't see his reasons sorry) but everyone and I mean everyone loves it! You have done yourself well as I always get people say "I recognise this" which is what you wanted and went for.

Great job and thanks from me, my community and the players that play on my server!

Thanks mate, I'm glad that you like and enjoy playing with your community, long ago I made several versions of this map (very bad by the way) and I think this is the best for all time that I spent

Yeah ok they do look rather ugly. The feel of them maps are way too dull lol. Thinking of it I have one thing that may need to be taken into consideration. in the middle tunnel, sometimes the specimens get stuck ontop of the bar and will keep going along it till they can finally jump off. I have seen it quite a few times and people get rather confused from where it came from. As the specimen goes along the "bar" it does the constant jumping animation.

How strange, I have not seen that problem in many of my tests and the specimens usually come quickly.
Could you attach a screenshot of this problem?

Sorry mate but I think you did something to the spawning system (as I went ghost mode on server). The specimens are getting stuck in the spawn rooms you have on where the teleporter is. Wave one we have 16 left and nothing spawned or teleported to the areas but the light system went off now and then to say they did. Do top if off the specimens are having major problems spawning as we have no action sometimes and this was on wave 2.

I've just tested the map and the specimens come quickly and without getting stuck, could you attach a screenshot of the problem, maybe so I can understand you better

edited: I just found the problem and try and fix it right away :D

Hey, by any chance can you tell me how you fixed the broken teleporters as I want to fix the teleporter in Deck16 for my version, so I don't have to go ahead and try make bouncers instead?

I think this would be the correct way to fix it. 2 teleports per side.

Very cool! However, for some reason at the start of the game (and the start of each wave) the game freezes up for a couple of minutes, while spamming the log with this:



Is this happening for anyone else?


Same problem. My logs go up to 60mb because of this map lol. I would fix this if you dont want servers to crash during your map.

Just a question , what fov do you use in the vid, cause mine sucks and don't know what fov choose

Looks like it's atleast 120, the default for 16:9 is an fov 106 approx and 4:3 is 90 .
