Hey guys, i just noticed that i uploaded the wrong version 3 on friday, so i have fixed the link to the right version. If anyone downloaded that version then i am sorry for the inconvenience.

i also have a question ive noticed that most of the maps have been uploaded to another site, is that only if you want to join the contest or?...

Celebrating runescapes 15th anniversary i decided it was time to do some changes to the map! I know no one really asked for this but i felt like my map needed some work and its been since the last update. Hope you guys enjoy it!

And I;d really appreciate it if someone would spend the time to give me feedback as i haven't recieved much in a year xD would like to make this as good as i can, and i cant without your feedback. I am willing to do drastic changes.

Description:
A crazy scientist, Dr Oddenstein, who works in the attic of Draynor Manor, has invented a machine that he believes can go through time. He has invited you, the adventurer, to be the first test dummy in which you gladly accept and participate in the experiment. The machine has warped you to a Draynor Manor which is infested with zombies. Is it the past, the future or an alternate dimension where you don;t exist to protect Geilinor?...Really? who cares. Just survive the swarms of zombies.

Redid the roof (even though not really noticeable lol) but its now further back to make it look "more authentic"
Reskinned the exterior to wood
Trees are grounded instead of floating
More Meshes
More spawns spread out
the level aka height of the flooring in the exterior and interior are now the same (lol)
and more

Changed height and width of rooms (its almost twice as small)

I played this map for 5 minutes and made a brief suggestions/commentary video for it here: https://youtu.be/JwH5lcw-wPo . I like the rooms that i explored and am looking forward to updates of this map so that i can add it to my cycles and make a proper gameplay video of it.

@s1nk0 & Mundgodt i dont have imgur or any other foto website atm however you can check out J0s3phs video. He goes around some of it so you can see how it looks like if you still havent played it. i'd recomend skipping around to 2:15 as he gets stuck in a room :p

@j0s3ph Thanks for the advice! ill try to make the portal more obvious. the teleporting at random places was intended, i thought itd make the gameplay less predictable/more interesting . But if you guys dont want that, leave it as a comment and i can remove it and just have it so it exits to the ladder.

As for the trader lines going up into the ceilings and it being an easy fix, i have no clue haha. This is my first time using udk so if you got the solution or anybody else reading please respond.

i mean, I know its due to the teleporter, so if i did remove them there would be no problem but its the same in the forest. You get trader lines in areas where you cant go. Maybe i should use the normal path nodes instead of kf?Or its probably just a visible box that i need to tick off. ill look into it, and hopefully will have an update to this map by tonight. Sorry for the long response.

i believe the portals can work, it adds a fresh new gameplay element i've not previously experienced in kf2. my only concern being that in higher difficulties where teamwork is key, portals could force players all to have to fend for themselves if there are too many random destinations, so i would stick with maybe 2 or at most 3.

i dont know anything about mapping though sorry, but im sure a more experienced mapper (like maybe Sniper if he's willing) could help you with the trader arrows issue.

i will continue to monitor this map's progress. here's to hoping by june 13 i will be able to add your newest working version to the new cycle!

I'd like to kindly suggest that you look into getting some screenshots up though. I know you linked to j0s3ph's video, but if it wasn't for him, there wouldn't be anything. People often like to see screenshots before they decide to download a map and I believe the onus is on you to provide them when you present your map :)

played this map yesterday with a full team on suicidal,and won,we all enjoyed it ,teleporting to different areas was different but funny,we had fun and thats what KF2 is about right,keep up the good work
