Map authors: Kyben & Maul

Map Scenario:

You watched in horror as the back-up you called for went down in the middle of an urban storage facility. K&M Shipping Inc. The place is run down - seemingly poorly maintained even before the outbreak. The hordes will no doubt be drawn to the smell of burning flesh coming from the crash-site if not the initial explosion. There's no time - search the crash-site for survivors, and hope to God that the wreck is salvageable.

why didnt maul just post it himself? and what about the version??? it needs to have some V1 or something because its the same name as the one submitted for the competition isnt it?

Does he have a forum account? TWI is Waaaaay too picky about the email you register with. They don't allow almost all of the major email providers. I couldn't use

Hotmail
Yahoo
Aol

and many more. I had to make a gmail account to register and now google keeps giving me email popups :(

Maul does have an account, he just asked me to post this up for him. He's not online much these days. And it's simply KF-Crash, that's it. I've put a whitelist request in the appropriate thread.

Changes to map are a few cosmetic tweaks, an insta-kill bug on the balcony part (overlooking the downed chopper), a few zed sticking points fixed and a couple of other glitches ironed out.

cool :D this is a really great map. one of kybens best next to swamp. wish we could see a redone version of grudge one day.

Crawlers keep getting get stuck up on the roof outside overlooking the compound with the trader outside. Had to ditch the map. Shame, never had this trouble with previous version.

Yeah, noticed a few sticking points with this build. Not sure if Maul's going to work on the map anymore. *looks at Maul*

if i get Maul's permission i can fix the issues and resubmit. Oh yeah i am the guy who made KF-Stranded-Remix and KF-Stranded-Caves. if u guys can, can you please take snapshots of areas that need attention. i will not take any credit in this map if i fix it and rebuild it cause it's his map and not mine cause i have respect for those who makes map like i do.

Solved Issue

Solved Issue

so i found out the Jump pads above the Warehouse were wrong and also did not have proper linkage to path nodes at the bottom. I added the proper UT jump pads and proper links to path nodes at the bottom and PRESTO it works also the Path nodes on the roof were wrong those path nodes are like for special zombie path nodes and i added regular path nodes to jump pads and it was all good. I rebuilt and tested worked fine now. also while rebuilding there was one path node that was causing errors cause it was located inside or to close to a Static Mesh which is a No No.

**Any other issues please point out location and problem with a screenshot that i can clearly see and ill try to fix for resubmitting, course if Maul is fine with it.**

Hey

Yeah I don't come here much, only if there's a new update and some news.

I finished mapping when I finished this map. I'm done.
The reason: I have bigger aspirations in life than sitting on my arse making maps for a game. Simple. I want to see the funking world and live, not waste my life here or in that editor.
I play games with my friends on occasion sure, but in the end I'm not really a gamer, and although I did enjoy dicking around and making stuff with the editor - I'm no mapper either. I know what looks good, and I know how to build it.
Thats called being smart though, not called being a mapper. It ain't my calling in life. As long as you don't change anything except fix bugs, the bloke who first said he could fix it has my permission to organize to repost the thing with Mr Gregs.

Gotta say farewell. I'm off writing a novel and having sex with my hand. :cool:

Thanks for allowing me to fix up any issues and like i stated i wont change anything that you created or take credit for it. I to have a life and have more things important to do as in taking the family to the park and spending that quality time with them. I personally love the outdoors Hiking, Rock Climbing, taking family to Parks and Camps. Yosemite Hike and Rock Climbing was the best so far. anyways thanks for permission and people ill try to fix them as fast as i can to but i to have a life but i do game, I'm not a hard gamer but a gamer none the less. One last thing, I am working on writing a horror script for a small budget film. target budget $10000-15000

Gregs2K2 guess ill be messaging u soon.

maul, you crack me up :D youve changed quite a bit since the mod days. feels like youve gone through some deep thought and matured quite a bit as a result.
