Everything just seems to be a little too big; the lack of static meshes doesn't help. I think a fair amount clutter, along with some downscaling, would go a long way to making it a better map, in my opinion.

Very true, if you look at the third pic with the Fleshpounder is kinda gives you a good idea. He is supposed to be a big specimen, but that hallway makes him look like a midget. Still very good map, especially for your first!

The funny thing is I was worried it was going to be too small.:eek:

We're both use to making mmo levels so adjusting to making more of a fps sized level was interesting. We just did it as a fun thing to do and to use the unreal 2 engine again since its been a while. There were a couple of other things we were going to do with it, but ran out of time for the wave 1 contest.

Thanks! It was fun to work on.

We did want to add more static meshes around but due to time restraints, didn't get to it. Lets just say we got about 3 hours worth of sleep after submitting it before we had to get up for work. :D

posting here hoping that alt will return some time to polish up this map, or maybe someone else could help out. there is a bug with ammo/weapon pickups (or lack of) that generates about 30mb worth of error logs on the server each run, this also freezes everyone up for a good while at the start of each wave while it chews through these function errors. it's a good map that I want to keep in rotation, just really needs to get sorted out. seems like a quick fix but it's been months since release, I'm surprised no one else has mentioned this here.

This map is freaking great. My chum and I have been playing it daily ever since it came out. Looking forward to a new, more difficult version.
