shinobi maps are good fun to play. my first one was shopping center in good ol 2.5 days.
i followed his work till his latestet realease.
he puts much effort in making costum content. this is were he loses me. the content itself is cool but it wont merge with killingfloor orignal content. its kind of out of place.

i simply cant overlook that.

but word of solace to u shinobi-san: waterworks and project aretha have the same problem imo

Thats the thing m8 :) I dont feel comfortable if i for example just make some cubes and copy and paste only some game static meshes in it and then call it a custom map. Cause then its just a copy paste map and if you dont got a single custom stuff in it at least well its not really custom. I think this map will work fine for the game, graffitis fit well in, blood and spiders anyway ,the sound for sure. Its a diffrence to all the maps you already got. I always try with my maps to make a bit diffrence to the maps the game already got so you dont get bored to fast and have a big choice!

edit: While i really tryed to hit the kf theme with this map. I think also gas station is a classic theme for a speciment/zombi shooting/attacking game.

Hey.

Hey.

No expert. Ammo pickup error may mean the pickup needs to be brought back in bounds of the map area. For example something is to low in a solid floor or outside the cube of the map. The only thing I can think of.

I will open the map in the editor and search around but like i said i didnt dropped any ammo or weapon spawns in it to keep it hard. I only copyed the shops from biolabs into it but hm there isnt an ammo spawn in it. At moment i dont really know what causes that.

Edit: I tryed this. I copyed an ammo spawn into the map marked it and selected all of that type. Then i went to wire view and looked the map all over. Well there is no ammo spawn in it. Not 1 that i could find i also looked trough the stuff where i placed alot static meshes at points i really cant find 1.

Dunno can it be the lines shows up cause there is no ammo spawn in the map? i really dont know how to fix that 1 at moment.

Well there is no ammo pickup or weapon spawns in the map. Tryed to make it extra hard. Hm i don't know at moment what causes that.
ive had this problem with other maps. you need at least one ammo or wep spawn on the map so that it doesnt have like a 5sec pause between waves

Agreed. Trying to start a map through the editor without any weapon spawn type actors sends the game into a tizzy and either leads to a crash or makes initial wave spawns really slow. It's as if the game's specifically coded to look for these actors and report back (in its' own little way) when that search hasn't been successful.

Im on it i already postet this problem for help into the genaral mappin forum. I also fixed that problem so far. But for this map, i still have to rework the channels where water is in, the zombies act bad on the hight so i rebuild that soon. We testing the map on DSAS server at moment so that it wont cause 100 versions b4 its ready. But im also working really busy on a new project that eats alot time but gets great so far.

maybe just put a few weps where people cant get to them, that way the map will still "report back" that the weps respawn so it wont lag.

PS i still think you should add crawler spawns comming down from the manhole covers
