Hi guys, here's my first map. Enjoy!
A small map resembling kakariko village from zelda a link to the past.

The map still needs a bit of work, but is fully playable.
Textures and mesh are used with permission from S-Cape.
The map has the same secret features that are in Zelda:alttp, for the old school gamers out there.
5 secrets in total, when discovered will play the iconic "secret found" sound effect from Zelda.
Each secret only works once per game, and the rewards will vanish if forgotten. (20 seconds)
Custom traders. Hyrulean soldiers.
More screenshots are on the workshop page.

Nov 4th*

Thats cool :D
Is it possible to enter the buildings?
All buildings can be entered except three of them, with the exclusion of trader buildings. Two in the town and one out of the map boundary. I plan on adding them in though, I just need to make a few props that are from the original game.

Ah great.
I'll give it a try as soon as possible.

I'm going to test this map but had an inspiration...

Would it be possible to make and add the dungeon level underground of the castle, just like the original LTTP?!

It would be pretty cool to fight up top and then progress down to the dungeon to rescue Zelda or get killed in the process by the zeds.

Would be cooler if there was a story mode version with waypoints to progress through all the major story parts of the map.

Had an opportunity to play the map as well, and I must say: nicely done! :)
Graphics look solid AND convincing, for a remake that is. Pretty much everything looks convenient, the destroyable walls stand out a bit but oh well. The sky definatly needs some clouds and possibly a sun.

I spotted three of the secrets on my playthrough, they are nicely done, would remove the medic gun for something else because you could get waaaay too much money if you sell it offperk, so it's a possibly whitelist issue. The rest is good.

What I'm unsure about is the sightlines, basically a GG for sharpshooters. I know there aren't many trees present in this village, but it's quite easy to level the competition...

Overall, this is a really nice map and well executed. Well done, I'm looking forward to next versions. ;)

A story version is something I am planning, but not in the near future.

Cool, I will remove the medic gun in the next update, replace it with a LAR as that's a solid but inexpensive weapon. I agree, the sightlines are big problem, but I hope this won't cause it not to be whitelisted, westlondon has sniping lanes as well, and I could always add crawler dedicated spawns behind bushes to keep the action going.

Also, I don't want the reward secrets to hinder a whitelist possibility so I will list them here, let me know if any are too much and possibly a good substitution. These rewards are once per-game, will vanish after 20 seconds if not picked up, and can not be triggered twice.
1:Mailbox-Claymore sword
2:Mario picture-200 pounds
3:Shack door-shotgun medicgun and 20 pounds
(tree secrets shoot the treetops)
4:Tree by south entrance-200 pounds
5:Tree by north stone house trader -medkit

Thanks for the help guys! I really appreciate it!

This map looks really cool, and I subscribed to it in Steam Workshop, but how do I actually play it? It doesn't show up in the map list when I start a game, and doesn't seem to be in my /maps/ dir either...

Thanks for pointing this out. I've fixed this in the new version as well a few other problems.

There should be a progress amount on the upper right top of the title screen, after it's done I think you need to close and relaunch Killing Floor, it should be in your maplist after that, if not try unsubscribing and re-subscribe.

Just note that the workshop is bugged right now, meaning the uploaded files will go into a non-existant direction of Killing Floor SDK, which is not the regular Killing Floor direction. This problem exists since the Hillbilly Horror update. :(

Hmm, does this mean I need to re-upload the updated version after this is fixed?
Or people can't download the update till it gets fixed?

I've had a few friends subscribe and play test the map, and it seemed to update for them, I put the current revision number where the map story flavor text goes, in the game lobby (vers1.5) so we can see what revision it is. I think I originally submitted it before the Halloween update, is the problem with updating content as well?

For now, the workshop does not accept any new items. That means it won't update, and people won't get your map via the workshop. Everything uploaded BEFORE the update is working fine, though.
