Hello everyone,

We're releasing a small update today that addresses some issues we found and fixed over the weekend. There are still a couple of known issues that we plan on addressing in the near future but we felt it was important to get these fixes in the community as soon as possible.

This update is a version bump for both clients and servers so they'll both require a download.

The update changelist is as follows:

Maps
  • Fixed an exploit spot in Farmhouse where ZEDs would not path to the player
Visual
  • Fixed a broken UV seam on the Patriarch
Trading Floor
  • Fixed a bug in the item drop system where players could not get drops in multiplayer (drops online happened in solo offline play)
  • Fixed a broken text string when equipping certain items on Ana Larive
  • Fixed incorrect condition descriptions on Sharkteeth Boomstick and Clot Commando SCAR weapon skins
Stability
  • Fixed a particle system crash with FleX on low setting
Known issues
  • Nvidia Flex is limited to LOW setting until we can resolve Flex related crashes.
  • Sometimes the opening/decrypting animation for crates will get stuck in a loop.

We'll be addressing the known issues listed here as soon as possible.

Oh ok, I just wanted to make a thread about what's up with todays 280 Mb patch, cause I couldn't find a word about it initially on the forum.

So those tens of hours without a drop was a bug afterall. Well, good to hear that it wasnt our god damn bad luck.

-Zeds still stop in front of the "zerk wall".

I thought these got fixed, but its still possible...

Hey you've forget about to renerf the medic... again :(

Doubtful any messed up nerf is on their priority list. I expect that like the previous 3 updates any nerfs or buffs are something for the next major update.
I could be wrong ofc.

Thanks for the continuous updates TW, and I'm also glad to learn that it was not bad voodoo magic that kept me from getting drops.

What about the Zerk block bug? Shouldn't it be a priority?

Known issues document issues we introduced into the build that were not in previous builds. A "Heads up - we added a bug, we know and are working on it!"

As far as other bugs go, everyday a triage meeting is run where bugs are prioritized or sent to QA for verification or back to QA for more information about the bug or reproduction case so a fix can be worked on.

So... do I get a queue of the (probably multiple) drops I should've had playing 30+ hours over the last week when I log in tonight?... as well as the Steam dollars for being able to sell drops on the market while they were still rare? -_-

Doubt it.

Honestly I logged 30+ hours in the new update and half of it was in solo and I had only one drop until today (BEFORE update), so I guess this is 1 drop/week and that's it... sadly

Husks should be looked into. Sometimes their projectiles disappear and do no damage and they need some aim training :p
This could fix the camping.

I'll do some local testing here to see if I can find a quick fix. It shouldn't be happening anymore, but it's possible something is wrong.

Sorry if i may sound harsh, but this is definitely a big mistake not taking this as a main issue.
the developer team CANNOT believe we can manage to get pass the "hard" difficulty with this problem.
You must know better than anyone that do be able to win we must require someone to take upon fleshpound and scrakes, having to reconnect DURING the game, and most of the time doing so won't fix it DURING waves IS A MAJOR ISSUE

Now, i am aware there is many issues with crashes, glitches or any exploits, and people will complain about those (cosmetics whiners for example) while this problem is in, but this is making just trying to play suicidary - hell on earth IMPOSSIBLE as it is so random.

i hope you guys will reconsider this quickly, it is VERY irritating and frustrating, i believe in you

regards from a day one kf1, and hell on earth player. :)

Nobody said other bugs are not high priority issues. We have many high priority issues that are in various states from known/documented, to QA is actively working on a reproduction case, to Programming are working on a fix, to re-qa, fixfail - back to qa/fix pass waiting for a build.

High priority/critical bugs do not equal known issues.
