Hello everyone,

We're now releasing a second small set of fixes to the Return of the Patriarch update. There are still a handful of issues outstanding that we plan to address in the very near future but there are major stability fixes in this hotfix so we felt it was best to roll it out to the community ASAP and not wait on other fixes to be complete. Here is the changelist for 1017

Sound
  • Changed 1911 sound
  • Fixed some 3rd person gun sounds not playing correctly

Map
  • Fixed tire swing pathing in Farmhouse
  • Fixed a bug allowing players to get out of the playable area in Farmhouse
  • Fixed footstep sounds in black forest and farmhouse

Stability
  • Fixed client crash while playing Farmhouse
  • Fixed client crash when using the automatic matchmaking
  • Fixed client crash when playing with Nvidia card while amd drivers are installed

Trading Floor
  • Fixed AAR reporting wrong dropped items or items when none were dropped
  • Back end fix for getting weapon skins with the wrong condition when buying on the market

UI
  • Fixed gunslinger Rack

You guys need to push out a hotfix for controller support. Without modding and external programs throwing weapons and quick heal is not available, thus making using a controller detrimental to the team and survival. Plus, voice comms get stuck forcing the player to exit to desktop and restart kf.

It's always great to read about another update, also coming that fast after the previous one :D I'm glad I can play Farmhouse without risk of getting crashes 3 times in the 20-minute span, lol.

Aww, I actually liked having single fire damage bonus apply to my back up Deagles.

Does this also fix items not dropping at all after the first drop?

That is addressed by the AAR not showing wrong or non-existent drops. In many cases people were being shown the same drop multiple times in the AAR after multiple maps when in fact only one item was granted to their inventory on the first drop.

Nice, thanks for the quick fixes.

I've got two questions though:

Is the trader's voice not being affected zed time and constantly interrupting player chatter post InD a bug or was that intentional?

If intentional, would you ever consider reverting those two properties? It's no fun when I'm in zedtime and the trader is talking normally. :(

Can we get an idea of what drop rates are SUPPOSED to be? Because 1 drop on the first match post-patch and then nothing for 20 hours of gameplay after doesn't sound right.

Hello, we've recently made some changes to the controller.

To use throw weapons, hold down (Y) and find the item you'd like to drop, then hit Left Bumper (LB) to throw the weapon on the ground.

For quick heal, simply hold down (X) and you will quick heal if you do not have max health.

So just to clarify, the drop rate is meant to be extremely low? Or is it based on calendar time rather than play time?

Hello, we've recently made some changes to the controller.

To use throw weapons, hold down (Y) and find the item you'd like to drop, then hit Left Bumper (LB) to throw the weapon on the ground.

I have the weapon wheel bound to lb so that's probably why. ID rather not change to Y though, its a terrible place to bind it. ID rather not be able to drop guns than to use y to change guns

Also besides this, I just got a crash on Farmhouse with the new hotfix.
