May I ask why are you not with any mod team yet? :)

Good question.

To be honest, never felt like my skills were good enough for a "Real" modding team. I did join few teams here and there in the past, but they fell apart real quick. So i really never bothered after that.

I'm the type of person that when i start something.....I have to finish it!
And i feel like joining a mod team will only lead to let down in the end.

And thats Few reasons why I haven't ;)

If you wanna level up your skills you get yourself involved with project that potentially is beyond your current skill set and learn your way up. It can be daunting but you do your best, don't quit, and you learn from your mistakes. I used to do level design work as a hobby (nothing substantiating) when I was doing RL work as a systems administrator for the auto manufacturers in Detroit. This was 1998-2003 area of time frame. I got myself involved with a moderately high profile project Troopers: Dawn of Destiny... caught a contract on the West coast, did some other stuff, and her I am at Tripwire.

None of that would have happened if I stayed in my comfort zone. Just saying.

This is what the lecturer of one course in the university keeps telling us. If you're in your comfort zone all the time you learn nothing.

WoLvErInE, i sent PM to you.

luciferintears, could you tell little bit more about yourself. What you have
done before, what kind of skills you have and what you expect form the
mod. PM is the good way to do that.

Edit: (luciferintears) Nevermind, GloGi said that you allready had a chat. :)

Massive respect to what the Finns managed during their wars with the USSR, I will look forward to this! Wish I could help with it, but don't know any programming/coding/texturing etc.
