Not to burst anyone's bubble, but I don't see the appeal in cheap racing wheels.

If you're not into serious sim racing, you're better off with a gamepad, as it's both cheaper, more precise and less of a hassle to set up and put away after racing.

And if you're into sims, you find these cheap wheels lacking in many ways, like wheel turn (you'd rather have a wheel that turns 900

You are not bursting my bubble I know it's a cheap racing wheel but like I said I didn't want to spend to much money at first but I will probably get something much better when I feel like it, this was just to see if I liked it enough to invest more.

Actually my xbox 360 gamepad cost me almost as much when I bough it a few years ago. I used that game pad for only racing game and this wheel is way more precise than a gamepad. It's not a big hassle for me just unscrew the wheel unplug it and put on my couch

This just reminded me of something. We need a special tankers setup/controller for our Red Orchestra treadheads. *wink wink TWI Merchandise* :IS2:

You can have fun with 100$ wheel too. I personally don't need overpriced Logitech and Thrustmaster crap made ouf of materials worth 10$. That G27 H-Shifter is horrible.

Ah, I almost forgot to brag about my setup :p

This just makes me angry that I got rid of my Frex Pit years ago. Damn it.

Where do you start to get a setup like that? Where do you get the hardware and software?

Even a cheap racing wheel is way better than using a gamepad in my opinion. If you haven't played it you should get Richard Burns Rally, a bit old by now but still my favorite among racing games.
