Must have been a matter of "keeping the no goods busy with an AT-Rifle" just to keep them from messing up the formal tactics.
Lot's of "nincompoops" during the Kursk defense got them. Annoying the German armour by making lot's of noise, hitting their tanks etc.
Or something like that...

Forgive me Teufel Hund, but this generalization is simpy not true.

I wasn't saying that there were not allied weapons/tanks that performed better in combat. Simply that technologically they were inferior. Were the T-34 and KV series better than the early war German tanks? Clearly they were. But in terms of the technology used in them, they were crude. The optics were inferior, the armor quality was lower, and only the platoon leaders had radios. A 1973 Dodge Charger is technologically inferior to a 2012 Toyota Camry, but which do you think will win a quarter mile race?

Yeah, with that I fully agree. Wunderwaffe. Nazis made some progress in nightvision systems and luckily they didn't made so well. What would be disastrous, is if they had finished the research of the atomic bomb before the '45. My God... Just think about it. Our second (if not first) language would be German and we would all be working in one of IG Farben or Krupp facilities as bloody slaves... And who would free us if countries like UK, US, France or even Soviet Union were conquered? It's a good material for a screenplay though...

Or a book... like "The Man in The High Castle" by Philip K Dick.
