Cant find server. Open 85.214.243.184:7676 didnt work too. Its up?

edit: ok find it finally

edit2: omg ping 300 and packet loss 50 - 100. Something wrong with this server today.
DDOS attacks (something happening far too often these days) or a lossy routers between you and server doesn't necessarily mean server problems. Unless you run tracerroute or you know of another game on the same machine at the same location and know that its not having problems, its kind of hard to pin point the real problem. I'm not saying it may not be having issues, but there are other factors that happen quite often. This is teh internets..:p

I don't know if the IOM mod files are on the OdW redirect or not, but if they aren't, and someone connects that doesn't have the mod installed, then the files will be uploaded to his rig by the RO2 server. If an other one will connect without having the mod installed, then also the RO2 server will start to upload the mod files. This will eat away the band-wide and pings will go sky-high. This can easily be prevented by installing all the IOM mod files on the redirect. Then at least the upload will be redirected to the redirect server and the RO2 server won't be bothered.

There are a couple of us playing right now, please join us

It would be much better to post this as a anouncement into the steam group. Every member could do it, we do not need to be a admin or mod.

This is the way like i try to become some people to the server. And if the population is growing i post again to mobilize all the player who just join a aerver with nearly no bots.

and from the main IOM thread:

Figured we could do with getting a weekly event going off in the IOM. Should be some overlap for those that are early/late to one or the other.

----------------------------------------------
Events
----------------------------------------------
Where: [OdW]#4
When: Every Saturday @ 8PM GMT.
**EURO-CENTRIC**
----------------------------------------------
Where: RGN Semper Fi Classic IOM Server
When: Every Saturday @ 7PM CST (GMT-6)
**US-CENTRIC**

If we, "we" being those of us who have posted in this thread and elsewhere expressing interest in playing IOM and encouraging others to do so, want IOM to get the wider exposure it deserves, we should be making an effort to set some schedule to organize play times as the above two quotes state.

Whether it be in the dibblersmod Steam group or on this forum, we should attempt to agree upon times in advance of such dates to increase odds of greater attendance.

Should we not strive for the greater glory of this wonderful collaborative modification? :IS2:

Agreed. There should be something regular but sometimes the impromptu events turn out to be the best. If I ever have an evening to play some RO2 I usually send out swathes of invites to friends to get together on the server. Once it hits the 20+ mark it usually attracts more and more people.
