Question.

So I join a game 1/2 way in and we finish the game. The server changes map, all fine and dandy and then comes the *scracthes head* I join in later then most of my team. Why is that? I am not lagging and I have a custom build husky *** gaming rig setup so its definately not my connection nor a computer (and no SSD is not a valid argument here).

Is it the games optimization thats poorly coded or is it because the match is "simulating reinforcements" on the 1st wave?

Would prefer a staff member to answer this if possible because I am a very confused paying customer:confused:

It really is the fact that you load in after them. You don't like to hear it but that's the truth.

Its not that I dont want to hear it I just want to understand the priority of who loads first and all. Say if player A has the same specs and same connection why does he load in before player b. This is the only pc fps that I experience this with.

Its not that I dont want to hear that I am just unsure as to why I, and other players with really poweful machines and good connection load in after. Just trying to figure out the priority system more or less with some detailed information.

I actualy would have though since they want to simulate attack waves they make people load in after a certain people but I, personaly do not enjoy loading in after everybody else for some reason know 100% is not my hardware. *shrugs*

Yes, that annoys me alot, but this is since you can play MP games.
Would be fine, when the server waits for the other players.
Could cause other players to wait some seconds, but thats better
then beginning without the half team isn

SSD is a very valid argument as to why.

I Have a Vertex 3 SSD, I load in with 0 Axis / 0 Allies showing when it comes time to choose a side. :) A hard drive is typically the biggest factor in loading a map for just about any game. You can have a beast of a CPU and GPU, but if you are still rocking a 7200rpm mechanical hard drive, some one with a meager CPU/GPU combo will load before you if they have a SSD and probably a 10,000rpm drive as well.

Well I am running dual 1tb WD caviar black 7200 drives in raid 0 and even though its said to be faster then a 10000-15000 prm drive I guess SSD would be what makes people load. Not that it matters but my windows experience sheet is at 5.9 because of the drive wheres everything else is at a 7.1+ I guess with the new age technology SSD will be requiered for this type of thing. I'll invest into one when Diablo 3 and Guildwars 2 comes out then for now I'll have to make do.

Thanks for the heads up :)
