Nvidia is claiming to somehow integrate a direct bus to next-gen CPU's that has way more bandwidth than PCIe x16. I used to think it wouldn't be possible for ~$1000 home part-PC's but in the next five or ten years they really might make it happen.

Seeing the thread title at first without reading the opening post made me thought of OP posting something like a long rant about other game devs should implement something like this in their games a long time ago so as to not be jelly about Tripwire's tasty tasty Jelly Blood implementations.
