I have to say since Battlefield 3 was announced, it had been the game I had been so eagerly anticipating. Sick of COD since it went to consoles, still weeping over Medal of Honor's last attempt to do something even resembling the freshness of Allied Assault a decade ago, and not even considering clone trash of these franchises, I felt the closest Id ever come to the original RO..would have to be found in Battlefield 3.
Then I read IGN's latest article just about an RO2 3 days ago...and my Jaw hit the floor.
How in the world I missed that this was being developed ( considering the time I spend..daily..pretty much on Gamespy and IGN) I cant figure out.
Its been prolly 5 yrs since I played RO ( a digital download on a PC that died sometime ago..I cant remember where I downloaded it) and must say it is the most enjoyable shooter I have ever played..so to hear of ALL the features, ballistics , modeling etc, that will be present for me in 6 short weeks ( and mabey beta access too
!!!!!)
Thank you Tripwire!!
P.S I tried to share all this with my Wife ( sporting a full faced toothy grin and childlike gleam in my eye).
She just rolled her eyes, turned and walked away, and put the twilight saga on the tube.
Her loss!
