Okay, here's my two cents on both the Type 11 and the better bunkers.
I like the idea of the Type 11 being added. As said by the others on this thread, the 96 and 99 are pretty much the same damn weapon (I was ... somewhat perplexed by that when I first saw it) and I think it would round out the Japanese arsenal. As it is, the only non-MG automatic weapon they have is the Type-100 (I think that's the name, what is it with WW2 Jap guns and having the same names pretty much?
) and it's inaccurate as hell. Especially since the Americans have the BAR (which reminds me of the MkB in terms of firepower and accuracy) and the Thompson.
And as for the bunker, let me quote r5cya:
Sure, it's very easy to get killed on a stationary MG, but I think that balances it out, personally. We have to remember that we're not real soldiers, trained for months in boot camp and surviving based on total teamwork and reflexes. This is a game, filled with people from all walks of life and skill levels trying to have fun and dealing with ping spikes. As it is, the competency of the TL can mean the difference between winning and losing and the last thing you want is the super bunker to completely halt an advance.
You're just asking for stalemates if the ones attacking it aren't great players who can't co-ordinate.
tl;dr - Type 11 yes, bunkers no.

you're mistaking what seems like a great way to defend the beach with a great way to have people playa fun game. if the mg was the death machine we know it was, we'd all be bored trying to get past the first objective.
it's a game and gameplay needs to come first sometimes.
