on the streats
a iwo jima mutiplayer map were the players start off in the boats and they have to take beach flamethrowers m1grands m1 carbines and more it would be an epic fight for iwo jima

From what I understand of the OP it is talking about how awesome it would be to play MP using Garands, Flamethrowers etc.

It would also be only half the story as half the players would be using Arisakas, Type 99s and Nambu pistols.

And who is to say the entire RS project is not all set on Iwo... it is certainly large enough, features a number of varied terrains, and several major tactical approaches, including the heavy use of armor and artillery.

They could make several maps based on Iwo, or one big campaign one, the Japs would already be dug in but the Americans could have tanks could call in Naval support.

Iwo Jima was a fudge fest. To show it accurately you need to have far more than 32 players per team, even with increased tickets for attackers, it should actually be more like 20-44 in those sort of one sided battles, where defenders have dug in artillery, anti tank positions, machine gun bunkers dug in the ground, etc. Or even, 15-49
