yep, one full drum mag of shells for the AA-12 kills the Pat on normal when alone, just aim for the chest and let it ride

definitely much easier now on normal if your team has the cash...

haven't tried suicidal and hard yet but we'll see

so what's the solution? make him not set off pipe bombs or something? just make him super-damage resistant to them? make them cost a whole lot more a pop?

I think Pipebombs + Patty is a problem that should be solved with A.I., not arbitrary damage resistance.

What if he's smart enough to avoid or blow up your pipebomb trap with a rocket from a distance? Making him favor that badass chaingun/rocket launcher more would also amp-up the threat.

I dunno, buffing the Patty's stats is pretty precarious. What if you don't have 6 guys with top-tier weapons and pipebombs? Fighting the Patty with increased stats with mostly regular weapons would be friggin' ridiculous.

I really feel like improved A.I. is the way to amp up the challenge without making him practically unkillable unless you use pipe-bombs and the new weaps.

Patty already blows them up I believe.

I played a round on West London about 30 minutes ago. Pipebombs at both church doors. When the rocket blew one of the welded doors open, the pipebombs went kaboom as well. Patches was down the block and there were no other Zeds on the board.

My suggestion for pipe bombs is that they react to others in proximity. Basically, if someone places a pipe bomb within X meters of another, they both set each other off (or the player is prevented from placing it, and the bomb in their hand bleeps some sort of "PRXMTY WRNG!" sound)

I say give him the ability to kick them towards the players or something :p I hope TWI pull some kind of new maneuver for the Patty out of thin air that surprises the living crap out of all of us when we try to recreate this.

This. Make the patty aim for pipebombs. Simple fix, his rockets already set them off.

And to answer him setting them off already, that's because the explosion from the rocket hitting the door sets off the pipebombs, not the patty actually aiming at them.

So yes I agree, the patty is a lil broken now due to the pipebomb strat. He should definitely detect them, even if it is superhuman detection, because something that powerful and that fun shouldn't be nerfed.

lol imagine the patty screaming with same voice as siren. katana is more balanced now that we have no more 1 click rapid fire.

I aggree with letting the pat shotting them with his chaingun.

I remember playing jediknight 2, When fighting the final boss of the game. I tried throwing detinators on the ground during our sword fight. But each time I did, she'd push them away using the force or blow them up. So in other words, she identified the threat of me trying to get explosives underneath her and delt with it.

The PAT, needs the AI to deal with this too. As the final boss in the game.
