Nystagmus and colour blindness to name just two of the most common!

If they have nystagmus why should it matter? It's not like people with nystagmus are actually allergic to desaturated images

For color blindness that seems understandable but honestly shouldn't we wait until the game is actually out, at least in early access, before we start making serious complaints about features of the game?

Also, I'm not against having the option to turn off desaturation. But it's really just more of a preference for people because I can see how it can cause a little discomfort to some people. But not so much that it's impossible for you to play.

Pfff, who in the world needs gta v if you can have killing floor 2?
GTA 5 is a good game, but gets boring very fast, specially if you played the last 2 versions like i did
Also GTA 5 != Killing Floor 2.
KF2 is early access, so they don't need to be scared about the gta 5 release.

I know about GTA 5. I already finished the story on my (already sold) 360 but I never played the MP part so I CAN'T WAIT to try it out with friends.

Besides, maybe 2 or 3 of you will prefer KF2 over V, but think globally mate ;)

I'm insane and I stalked you all the way from reddit because I wanted to post my response to my friend sending me this picture.

(My friends name is Sam, he's always trying to trick me with fake KF2 related news. I apologize if you're offended by swear words and donkey)

It's really simple in any browser to inspect the page using your debugger and just change the text. So I don't believe release is April at all, they still haven't shown off 6 perks, they seem to be really polishing the 4 showed in the dev diary. Maybe early access? But I'm not hopeful.

Never understood what that whole "3edgy5me" means when it comes to Hatred. As far as I'm concerned that game is all about killing people and destroying stuff, which happen to be my fav things to do in gaming.

Because it was made solely to be cool and edgy because the focus of the game is killing innocent people for no reason whatsoever. It's basically the equivalent of those game advertisements in shows like South Park that talk about "VIOLENCE! SEX! THOSE THINGS YOUR PARENTS DON'T WANT YOU TO KNOW ABOUT! THIS VIDEO GAME'S EXTREEEEEEEMEE".

Concerning the release date, it wouldn't really be competing with GTAV Next-Gen if it released almost a full two weeks before it.

This is the year of gore for me. KF2, MKX, Hotline Miami 2, Hatred, exploding wizards in Magicka 2. I love it.

Every GTA game I played the time I spent on missions was 25% of my time in the game at best. The rest of the time I'm just going on killing sprees and police shootouts (which is basically Hatred).

Honestly I don't care how people think it's marketed, as far as I'm concerned it's pretty much what I do in GTA and as long as they deliver the gameplay I'm happy.

lol i remember being a kid and playing gta, gta london, gta2 and gta3 and just spending hours driving around killing thousands of people with the tanks.

nothing new about hatred at all. there's been plenty of games that have had gloomy, murderous, brooding, insidious atmosphere and main characters. i don't know how anyone could think hatred is somehow edgey or that there is anything new or different about it at all.
hatred is just another regular drop of water in an ocean of video games. though it does look like it has some nice graphics for a top-down game.

you want violent? play total war games, you can exterminate most of the population of a city with a click of a mouse button. you can go full holocaust to destroy religions and wipe them out of existence.

edit - witcher 3 is another game that is looking good and will be coming out 19th may.

Surely, you are able to distinguish between violence in a Total War game and in a game like Hatred?

One is like reading a history book about the killing fields in the Cambodian genocide, the other is like being transported back in time and through space, to watch the mass slaughter of thousands upon thousands civilians at an arm's length. I hope we can both agree one is a more traumatic experience than the other.

RO was called a PTSD simulator by many. Hatred really isn't anything different.
In the end it's just a videogame. I wish people who are whining about violence and misogyny would see that. Anime/Books/Movies get a free pass for some reason. Probably because their reviewer ranks aren't mostly filled with clickbaiting talentless hacks.

totally.
afew people being shot or stabbed by one guy is very different to the level of violence that is thousands of people forced fowards by people behind them to their death by the thousands of people with blades, axes, spears and the stampeding horses and stapmeding elephants and arrow storms infront of them.
as if that wasn't enough the later games even have squirting blood and decpitation and hundreds of people writhing in agony on the ground while they die.

as if we could say that anything is anywhere near as violent as a roman or medieval battlefield, that would be preposterous.

Yeah I am waiting for the PC release of GTA V so I can do my version too! I already have it planned in my head with the music, the scenes, etc. The PC version will allow so much better representation because of the video editor.

Wikipedia!

I rest my case.
I've never understood people that have a beef with Wikipedia. You guys know they have a list of citations at the bottom of the page, right?

I don't trust this April 1st date anyway, what with that Bloat Nipple Ring DLC gag.

The difference for GTA being the focus isn't killing the people, it's the consequences; the thrill of trying to outwit the AI, as well as the missions. It just so happens that the ragdoll physics are hilarious in GTA V and the guns are interesting, not to mention one of the major points in GTA games, especially GTA V, is that the main characters are assholes that live in a world occupied by other assholes. It's not exactly uncommon to bump into somebody on the street and end up in a fistfight because of it, and a big focus of the plot is all the **** being thrown around that you got into the middle of.

I have nothing against Hatred but the controversy surrounding it suggests it was made with the idea to stir up controversy for the sake of it. If it's actually fun, that's cool, but I'd feel uncomfortable playing it personally, but I could definitely see that type of gameplay being fun, like Shmups of the past.

That being said, I only wanted to try and sort out dumb reasoning things. I am still hyped about KF2 and still enjoy GTAV, so let's leave it at that.
