Issues sending invites

Hey there, long time player first time poster.
Australian- PS4
So the last week myself and a few friends of mine here in Australia haven’t been able to send invites.
when we try to it either gets stuck on the horzine loading symbol, or it says cannot invite because game session has ended, or it just doesn’t respond.
things I have tried
- updated and installed any updates needed
- reset my router
-tested internet (82mbps)
- turned console on and off
- restarted the game
- unplugged and plugged back in my console.

if anyone has any ideas or help that would be amazing!!

Iv had this same issue as well for my son, it will not work on private matches only public.
