It may just be me, but I for one get a kick out of a guy playing a Hitler speech in HoS. Kinda adds atmosphere.
Protip: If the owner/admins allow that, then don't play there. If one does, they're only feeding the trolls that do play there and have there is no one to blame but oneself. Its not rocket science people....

I never understood the obsession with Nazis and Hitler in this community. Mabey the next time someone broadcasts Hitler nonsence, we should broad cast one of the allied leaders speeches.
there is this highly disturbing dude since some days on the TWB that only is SL1 lays in a Corner and Spams allchat. Reported to admin several times...the twb guys seem to be very slow nowadays...
If you do it for comical relive thats fine but NOT over the course of several rounds and maps...

Yeah quite often on the twb ro campaign server the same player is on with his bad mic perma spamming.
The problem in this case is that the kick vote doesn't last a session,hes back in 2 mins.

Yeah the TWB is the server where such spam is happening most often.

It was not a glorious fight with big speeches and high Spirits.
People crapped their pants and vomited because they were so afraid.
The Wehrmacht didnt have commisars or any Kind of ideologically trained officers.

It'd be nice if we could have a "report player" system. Right now aside from muting them the best you can do is record your gameplay and make the gamer IDs of these problematic players public knowledge so people will know whom to avoid.
It's always nice to have someone "close to the subject matter", as it were, to contribute to discussions like this.
Wouldn't it have benefited the men in charge to paint the Wehrmacht's fight like this, since it's likely to give courage to the fighting men? Besides, I would think that Hitler's cult of personality and constant radio presence during the build-up to WWII would have made him the Third Reich's "official cheerleader." I wouldn't be surprised if recordings of his speeches were distributed to major units and it was made "mandatory" to listen to his speeches when military personnel were not on duty. It's common for dictators in real life to be in love with the sound of their voice and talk, talk, talk for hours on end over radio and the like, not to mention forcing others to listen on pain of death. On a less narcissistic note, making your troops listen to patriotic music, including singers with pleasant voices, can be morale-raising.
Wow, I wonder if those who "relieved" themselves were charged with cowardice (a real military offence even today) afterwards. And besides, anyone who's done front-line service in the military knows that clean clothes can be hard to come by (especially in the field). As for Wehrmacht "commissars," didn't they need "politically reliable" people to convince the soldiers to keep fighting for the cause or to convince them of the legality of orders that mandated war crimes?
There's that nasty bit about the "Hitler oath" every member of the Wehrmacht had to take, though.
In any case, I actually like some of these patriotic shenanigans (before they get annoying), actually. TWI sadly censored any "objectionable" symbols and references to the supremacist ideology that backed up the Nazi war machine. That's whitewashing, in my opinion. I bought this game because I wanted to experience another era, warts and all. Sure, I wouldn't give two Reichsmarks about the concept of "untermensch" in real life, but I would still think it more realistic (and more authentic to the time period) if some of the Wehrmacht commander speeches made mention of "untermensch" and other terms used by Nazi propaganda--every ideology has its adherents, and maybe the CO for this particular session was particularly enthusiastic about what Nazi ideology did for restoring the Fatherland before WWII's end. Besides, a stirring speech can give one the courage to do what it takes to survive, whether speech is rational after examination or not.

It was not. It was Hold together by hitler but there were a Lot of conflicting Parties and believes within the Reich fighting for power and influence.
Russians were surprised how ideological unschooled the German prisoners were. There was no institutionized Indoctrination in the Wehrmacht!
The 3rd Reichs Spirit is so hard to understand because although people were pressured and people were killed for resistance inside the broad rules people needed to follow there was a huge freedom for everyone.
People volunteered to be in the SS, the concentration Camp warden SS or the New liquidating Police forces.
German commanders until 1943/44 had a broad Array of tactics they could Order without having to get an aprove from aboth.
The 3rd reich harnished the Hunger for success, beeing a rightful Person(in an extremly Twisted Kind of way) and even fairness of people who were able to delivery great Things but everything for a Bad Cause.
It is the result of the Lack of a fundamental moral.
Making the 3rd reich look like 80million brainwashed "lets kill all Russians and jews" guys doesnt help to prevent it from happening again.

Its laughable how some people take this game as a real deal and stuff and rage hard when some random just spam random music through the mic. Its like those people never played mp games in pub servers before.

I was playing 40-1 Realism (Rising Storm Campaign) and we had this awesome guy doing an over the top Japanese accent into chat. His screaming and cursing was all in-character, not vulgar, and spurred us into one hell of a Tenno Heika Banzai! We kept winning until he was sadly muted, and it all went downhill from there...
It was creative and well done, I wish nobody had complained, but some people just have no taste.
My point is that sometimes it can be awesome, too. (I personally like the period music between matches, not so much during and when I need to hear footfalls.)

I once played campaign on the 40-1st Classic server with a TL who I had a heavy Russian accent, spoke not so great english, threw in Russian phrases, but still was a great TL, motivated the troops and we crushed the Axis. Completely, 100% believable. Until the next round, when it turns out he was a Brit... .

Trolls are annoying because they are basicly telling the world that the have low Self esteem and probably some Kind of issues they cant solve in Real life so they go in the internet and get some feeling of power from annoying others.

And yes, people who take a game so seriously are laughable, it's understandable to want to play the game unbothered, but I don't see why people still cry when someone mentions Nazi Germany or anything related. I value human life, but I wonder why no one cares about all the people who were killed in the Soviet Union at the same time.
