Is there no way to cook Russian grenades?

I had one blow up in my hand right as I pulled it out haha(possibly bug?).. Doesn't seem like nades cook, but who knows..

I believe you have to right click once you pull the pin.

Try that.

Use your fire or alt fire button (default LMB and MMB) to cock your arm back, then use the other button to release the spoon (and start it clicking).


My alt fire (melee) key is mouse4. So to throw a cooked grenade I hold LMB to cock my arm back, tap mouse4 to let the spoon off, wait a second or two for it to cook, then throw it. If you're underhand throwing grenades via alt fire, just reverse the buttons.

I've been using alt fire, middle mouse button. I hear the click sound, have had them blow up before they hit the ground so I assume it's working ... I've yet to confirm by holding onto one for too long, though.

Select grenade, hold left click for 1 second, now while holding left click, hold mouse 3 wich should be the mouse wheel (click on it) you will hear a "click" sound wich means the grenade is being cooked, you have 5 second.
