Is there a plan to bring HOS to console?

It is not true that usually they dumb the game down so that they can port it to a console? I hope this is not true. Everything looks amazing so far.

did some googling, it was in like page 10 of "red orchestra gamescom 2010." i was googling just to see the general reaction to HoS and this popped up

Nice. It seems that there are people out there that realize games don't have to be just the same shooter with newer graphics and I think that is what TWI is hoping for all along.
Funny seeing some of those people hoping that EA, or Dice or whatever would add features into, BF3? that are already going to be in ROHOS. I think that when this game comes out, especially when seen it is coming from a smaller developer, it will really up the bar on what games could/should be.
Except BF3 is actually BFBC2, or at least that is what the community over there calls it. And that game to has a destructible environment.

I think that tripwire can be proud about his game if the community's fan of Battlefield is dreaming a sequel like RO2.
nothing to be proud about when every game is a console port nowadays and every game series is "transformed to wider audiences" e.g. dumbed down and turned into 3rd person OTS shooters with cover systems, regenerating health and other ****

I think its other way round, even micro$oft is showing interest to PC again with new exclusive flight simulator and age of empires coming.
are you kidding? they dropped simulator from the name and age of empires is a browser mmo, is this what you call interest?

I'd buy it on both PC and the Xbox360. I have a group of people I game with on both those platforms, so I'd get to enjoy the game with my friends on both.
Have fun playing 8 on 8 MP on your console with the same boring maps played over and over again because you wont have the tools to create your own. Don't forget the joys of DLC. lol
This is actually worrying. If Battlefield-folks think RO2 looks cool, what does that say about RO2?
Battlefield folks always thought that they are playing the most realistic shooter ever.
Probably they didn't even know about RO:OST.
I see they are supposed to bring "Dwarfs" to 360 so maybe there is hope for a HOS console version

Surely there's a huge problem in bringing HOS to 360 what with lack of dedicated servers and whatnot?
