Is there a plan to bring HOS to console?

In one of the new articles they strongly hinted by saying "stay tuned" regarding the consoles.
I really hope so I can play the game with friends who don't have a gaming rig. TWI would seemingly make a lot more cash well broadening the audience.

The thing I'm worried about is not that the game will become more "casual-friendly" but that there will be fewer people playing it on the PC.

i dont think people who have both a pc and a console will buy it for the console.

RO:HoS will be great game only b/c it won't be console product...

If Tripwire would release that game for consoles then they have to cut off 50% of game features.

A lot of the features and lay out of the menus make me think that there is a console version in the works. The cover system would make it possible to have a tactical shootout with a gamepad and the command window looks like it it was setup for a gamepad. I would say it has at least as many features that would help a console version as TF2 or BC2 in it.

I'll buy the game in the same way,but I want to know. I think that the team already is studying the "kit" to developing for xbox360. It is too easy I think make a game for console and pc, the only limitation is lean. Ok, I can accept the cover system if it works PERFECT. But Jesus, men

Brothers in Arms had a perfectly fine command system for the consoles hopefully TWI can do a system justice.

How can they ignore the huge player base the consoles have now? I mean 360 is like 43 million with the PS3 around 38. That is a lot of potential sales.

the question is: what is the problem to develop an interface for pc and one for console when the game will be released? For instance, 1 2 3 for the choiche of the weapon is ok. A Valve interface is ok.

maybe they want to actually make a game they want, instead of cutting everything down just for console sales. It's not like they won't get a *beep*load of money from pc sales.

In this financial world why ignore a potential audience? They are running a business not a charity that pleases everyone on these forums.

Might have to spend more than a console costs to get the visuals we just witnessed in the new videos.

Probably under $450 though

only if you need a brand new PC. Its only fair to compare that with a brand new console + tv which ends up being just as much if not more if you want to play it maxed out. >_>

I'd like to think that there is a demand for a realistic shooter on the consoles.
