The music selection process is physically done by elements built into each map. It acts like a jukebox request.
However, the selection process appears to look for a configuration rather than a separate track name so there may be another way of manipulating what you'd like to hear by editing its links. I haven't looked too deeply into sound yet but there is a different process for default maps and custom maps.
