I first heard about RO2 about a year or so ago when I was searching for a WWII FPS with a German campaign, and after reading a bit more about it and seeing some early vids it got me interested. I've kept up with it since then and pre-ordered as soon as I could. Never played the original RO though, though I was tempted many times to do so.

I played back in the mod days and have been on again, off again pretty regularly. I look forward to RO2 being my next Tribes.

You kids heard of Tribes, right?!

Tribes was my first online battle experience -good times.

Dabbled a bit in first RO but never got hooked. This one I've been following on Arma forums and that recent dev video (TB?) sold me so I preordered.

Plus I'm a firm believer in supporting indie PC titles.

Played Day of defeat a lot pre-source years ago and always liked ww2 over modern shooters. Couldnt stand unreal tournament so skipped that and all mods so therefore RO was never on my radar. But the coming of RO2 somehow did get on my radar and the more ive learned about whats coming the more excited i have been, as well as what i have heard about tripwire. The last 2 weeks ive bought RO and killing floor and been playing them while waiting for HOS, i like the cut of their gib.
Im getting old and never been good at twitch shooters.

Well, I had seen Red Orchestra:Ostfront ads in Killing Floor several times and I always wondered what kind of game it would be, then I got gifted Red Orchestra from a friend and loved it so much I haven't stopped playing it.

Decided to check on what Tripwire was doing and BAM! I found out they were working on RO2 and I've been checking these forums several times a day since then :D

Its my first hit with RO. After many years with Flashpoint (LAN), COD2 and then COD4 MW1 (HC ONLY) Ive jumped into World of Tanks and really enjoy it. So now, it looks like I have all in one and simply cant wait day of premiere.

BTW: COD series died with MW2 . :(

According to my Wal-Mart receipt, I bought Red Orchestra on July 23rd, 2006 at 4:59 PM.

I was lurking on STEAM one day looking for a new game to play, when the RO2 pre purchase button popped up. I got my pre-order in before the usual pre-order server issues that occur during the first wave of orders. :D

First experienced RO when it was on Steam Sale. Then eventually played Mare Nostrum and later Darkest Hour.

I found about it on Reddit, read up on it and watched some gameplay videos, then pre-ordered the deluxe edition immediately. It will be my first RO game.

there will be:http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198006611657/groups/

tho there was 1,500 members last week, they must of joined other groups and got sick of the ROOST alerts.

here is another.

So there will be servers and quite a few of them.

Was looking through WWII vehicles on youtube when I stumbled across some Darkest Hour tanking videos. Checked out Ostfront's videos, then some realism videos. I've put a lot of time and effort into things that never really took off so I decided to give a realism unit a chance. Also, the game was stunning and was really looking forward to fighting on the Eastern front. Joined the 305th and don't regret a thing.

Now we're headed to my favorite front (to study and reenact) and the climatic battle that effectively brought in the "retreat years" for the Germans. :D

Nope, went to buy Tes 4 Oblivion a couple days after it came out, Wal Mart was out of copies so I saw ROOST and Titan Quest, thought they looked good, so I got them.

Been playing since.

Edit: 200th post!!
