oddly enough some of the anims are named "ShoulderedIdle" and "ShoulderedFire" and "ShoulderedToRest" "ShoulderedToDeployed" etc, in the mg34/dp28 anim sets.
then there are crouched, rest, and deployed versions of those anims as well.

off topic, just thought it would be fun for some ppl to know.

Hmm, there is also an exploit that allows shouldering LMGs. (I reported it a long time ago)

p.s. @Mormegil, it's not possible to "shoulder fire" a mg in RO2.(sorry. that's off topic as well)

Oops. My mistake. But I still don't think you should be able to fire an MG while jogging around. At the very least, you need to stand still while firing. Ideally, you'd have to "steady" yourself first (RMB), like in RO1.

Common sense would kick in, though. You know fire and movement, you know how the gun operates, now put yourself in that position in Grain Elevator or Danzig or absolutely anything else and you can see that it would cause little trouble to fire in that way.

In the end it's not unrealistic in any way that they could or would fire an MG on the move - bearing in mind that these guns only weigh (without ammo) around 10 kilos.
Frankly I'd have been very hesitant to try firing the F89 while jogging if I cared at all where the rounds were going. Even less so with a heavier weapon firing more powerful rounds.

I personally think there are only two problems with the MGs right now:

-The Rambo hipfire everybody knows about
-The ability to hide the MGer when the MG is deployed on a slope or any kind of uneveN terrain, making you see only the weapon, but not his head

So agreed.
