Is 10 perks too many?

10 perks is many for a company that is creatively bankrupt. I mean why do we have so many trash cleaning perks? Where is all the crowd control? Where is the perk that has the ability to slow zeds? Oh right no where because Tripwire insist on being as uncreative with perks as possible.

While I'm still questioning the relevance of a long-distance sharpshooter in a game designed around close to mid-range combat, I don't think 10 is necessarily too many. Instead I'm just questioning if perhaps the effort being spent on weapons/options for the Sharpshooter and SWAT couldn't just have easily been folded into sidegrades for the Commando and Support respectively.

Of course, just because I don't see how they are relevant doesn't mean the devs haven't, so I'll hold off on judgment until they've gone thru release and refinement. If nothing else, it will be good to have something new to learn and level, but I really would like to see some more weapon sidegrades for each perk and some more playable female characters sooner rather than later.
