Ironsights - Option to Toggle

Can we have the option to toggle iron sight on and off please, rather than just hold by holding down whatever key/button is bound to it?

I don't remember holding down my second mousebutton for holding sights. It is toggle!

Both are options. Look in the controls menu.

As above. Toggle is the default. If you have "Hold" set, then you must have modified your controls. There are separate keybinds for toggle vs hold, so all you need to do is go and change the one you've assigned your preferred key/button to and it'll revert to toggle for you.

ok that's weird. I know I have the option in RO2 as that's what I have set and have had for sometime, however I could not find that option in the keybinding for RS2 on the 'hold' option appeared.

Just doubled checked- option doesn't appear for ironsight 'toggle' , here is a screen shot

I don't have the beta admittedly, but if its like RO2 it will be under Gameplay settings and not keybindings.

Which .ini and how do you mean reset? Just by deleting the config folder?

ROInput.ini in your my docs config folder. Delete it.

I haven't seen those options. I miss having the toggle option as well. Where has it gone? I haven't seen it and my attempts to reconfigure the ini were fruitless. We need this option in the GUI!!

Nah mate not sure what option you're talking about or we're all blind as deleting the config won't help here... Iron Sight (toggle) is not in the options as indicated in old mates screenshot above.

In RO2 it is a combined key with plant bomb.

For anyone wondering how to get it to work, make sure your button is not bound in the menu first then in ROInput.ini search for the following:

Bindings=(Name="---",Command="Ironsights" and change your desired button for --- and save.

The complete bind is:
Bindings=(Name="---",Command="Ironsights",Control=False,Shift=False,A lt=False,bIgnoreCtrl=False,bIgnoreShift=False,bIgn oreAlt=False)

Note: we're all talking about two options in the menu not one option defaulting to hold or toggle.
