No, I'm not going to wallow in the thought of omg autozoom sucks. It's a tunnel vision alright and happens when you're concentrating to something specific.

Yesterday I was guarding a close quarter region in Apartments with MP40. While at guard it's good to have your weapon ready to fire, that means you're peering around just above the barrel of your gun. But lets imagine the place you were guarding is a little bigger than a corridor or a door. Lets say you're in a small room and you need to guard two doors on different walls. You lift the sights up and zoom-in, when that happens you see only one door at a time.

In reality you wouldn't be concentration on something specific, you are trying to get the overall image of what is happening around you - but with your weapon ready to fire.

And yes, I'm aware you can adjust the FOV settings on those zooms. I was hoping we could get a separate button for iron sights, but without the zoom.

You can turn down the autozoom in the settings, and if you do want to use zoom separately after that, you can press the sprint key whilst stationary (in or out of sights) and you'll get a healthy dose of zoom

I kinda like this. I'd like to keep m2 for shouldering my weapon, but I would like to bind a key to toggle between zoomed scale and non-zoomed scale whilst in sights. I think it would be much better for clearing rooms.
