I a new server admin, and i want to know about it.

imo its not worth to touch this settings, better search for a more powerful box for RO. it will cause more trouble than...

well tickrate can be really handy as in it lowers the ping but finding out a good working setting is seriously tricky and often its better to leave it alone.

All those settings are ut2004 settings so just look for a nice ut2004 server performance tutorial.

anyway if you want a server with more than 10 server slots don't make it 100

Thanx a lots, some people have trouble to connect on our serveur.

Maybe my timeout setting are bad ?

What kind of errors? There seems to be a rash of people that are hanging up when trying to connect to some servers.

Have them try:

Error: RO hangs on connect to server
Fix:
1) In your steam directory find the steam.dll file
2) Make a copy of it
3) Navigate to common/redorchestra/system folder
4) Replace the steam.dll file there with the one you have copied.

Even if they can connect to other servers and not yours, this may fix the problem.

that fix is a bit outdated about 3 updates ago the steam.dll file was not needed anymore and is by default not in your system folder. It will use the one directly in the steam folder i believe.
