Well, the widescreen was much easier viewing than the previous video posted. Still, the person recording it turned their head so fast at times, the blurring almost made me dizzy. I imagine ingame it looks Much smoother than that if you have a decent enough rig.
I have to admit again, the setting looks really realistic and very atmospheric walking thru the woods with the visuals, sounds and effects. Avatar textures look exceptionally bland, but that could also just be the recording (which I did watch at 720hd). Movements look fluid, but I hate the way leaning is done.
The guy is whipping his head around, because thats the settings he is playing with...
Motion blur and everything can be set to your personal preferences.
The atmosphere that is possible in ArmA is without contest the finest that can be found.
The Avatars (as you like to call them), the texture quality is there, question of optimization & the rig that you use.
The leaning was done with the lean left/lean right default command, which is rather sharp... I must admit, but, and there is always a but, I've solved the problem by investing 150€s in a gawd darn Track IR5, now I'm turning my head and peaking round corners, just like I was carrying a baby...
Don't kucf about Moe, just get it...
I would not wish that ArmA holds you back with your UnrealEd progression, BTW.
It can become addictive...
