Sorry I don't have any videos, but nevertheless I have some interesting tactics that I came up with in tandem with the new weapons. (All tested on testmap6p_FiringRangeV2 on Hell on Earth.)

For the Berserker:
Those who like to go solo play or even in a team setting, here's a loadout that might interest you.

> Claymore + Trenchgun

Claymore for anything and scrake removal and fleshpound kiting (due to it's lower head multiplier of 1.1 even though its altfire does more damage than the axe's.) The Trenchgun can ALSO be used for trash specimens and fleshpound kiting. Yes, you heard me, fleshpound removal. While inefficient and uses up a decent number of shells (a total of 18 bodyshots to kill the FP solely with the Trenchgun), you can use the trenchgun to set the FP on fire and run away and stay out of his line of sight, make sure that you fire only after he crisps up and he is no longer burning, and headshots do not rage him though it's easier to just bodyshot (less risk). The sticking point is that you can use this tactic to kite fleshpounds when you're at a distance and can't get close enough to engage him because he's surrounded by his posse of zed meat-shields.

> Katana + Axe + Flare Revolver + M79 or any combination with a Flare Revolver

The best thing about this loadout or any berserker loadout involving the flare revolver is that 1 shot from the flare revolver offperk will kill those pesky crawlers in 1 shot. It helps to provide more interesting loadouts than the standard Katana/FireAxe/LAR or Claymore/LAR and Mk.23 or .44 Magnums aren't worth getting since you can 1shot crawlers with the flare revolver.

For the Firebug:
For Scrake removal, this loadout comes in handy and can be tricky.

> Huskgun + dual Flare Revolvers

Using the Huskgun's fully-charged shot, stun a scrake in close promixity and then switch to your dual flare revolvers and spam them right up in his face/body. Use all 12 rounds for the safest result and back away. What happens is that he crisps up (still flaming) and dies a few seconds after you're finished firing. Very handy tactic.
_________

If anyone has interesting new tactics with the new weapons, please contribute! I'm interested to see what others come up with, including the buzzsaw xbow and the Vlad the Impaler Nailgun. (I have yet to come up with something neat for those guns.)

I found carrying a flare revolver as a medic (+ med nades) was very worthwhile when manly-kiting Biohazard (e.g. kill everything on sight, no playing it safe)

Trench gun is super powerful as sharp, and works with alot of already known tactics. some 9mm spam + 2 lever + 1 trenchgun will kill a sc, or 2 lever + 2 trenchgun, or 3 lever + 1 trenchgun. katana + trench + .44 (or mk23) also is pretty fun as sharp and will kill scrakes easily with some pre dmg with pistols or katana then just the flinch uppercut with trench.

As firebug trench + dual flareguns seems to trash scs easily with flaregun flinch lock, husk launcher really is much better for sc tho. Havent found an easy way to solo an fp with the guns, but can chunk him well enough some added team dps would kill it no prob. (kiting or m32 spam doesnt count as a firebug solo in my book)

Fav new gun is def the trench as an off perk choice, using lever + trench as sharp, any commando weapon + trench as commando, and replacing the shotgun with it as support.

Also the Vlad gun kills scrakes in 2 hits as support with the uppercut deal and pins heads to cielings which I think is cooler than watching him flip

I believe that was when I was spectating the other day? Amber and Puppy was in it if I recall. Very manly kiting, but too bad it ended on wave 6.

But yea, flare revolver has a lot of practical use since even if the actual projectile doesn't hit the crawler or the head of some other specimen, you still burn damage to help compensate.

@Gigamonkey2: it's either my clicking speed or something else, but I can never successfully get a scrake to flinchlock with dual flare revolvers. I find that using a Husk Launcher + Flare revolvers is the safest bet and allows you to easily take scrakes.

I've tried the Vlad Nailgun by shooting downwards, hopng that the nails piercing upwards would travel through most of the scrake's body. The end result would either have me using up my entire mag and then some while taking some damage. I'll have to try the double shot to the chin, though if the shots rebound off the ceiling, that might be a faulty case to consider, especially when considering open-sky maps.

I tested it out on that one cool test map that tell you the damage, and every uppercut shot would create a nice 5000+ number instantly. The thing with this uppercut shot thingamajig is that it seems to depend on your framerate, at least if you are hosting the game locally, it seems. With V-sync on, even the huntie didn't seem to do better than 2-shot. @1000 fps, the vlad is most of the time an instakill, both uppercut and shooting down x]

If you can pull it off (took a fair bit of practice on my behalf because I don't really like playing support), jump shot the sc with the nailgun, so the nails go down through his body, then bounce back up through him. I got him in 1-2 shots iirc (however, when I got him in 1 shot I am pretty sure some of the bots had killed by a random husk spawn...).
Either way, a fun and viable alternative to the normal HSG uppercut/jump shot :)
