A guy was running at me, I did shoot and hit him 2 times in left arm and leg but he was still able to run at full speed and bash me with his pistol before he died.

Of course I died instantly.

I like the dying effect in RO2 but appart from that I'm wondering why injuries does not affect sprint speed, bash power and accuracy like in RO?

Yeah, I have the same feeling : injuries don't seem to have any consequences in the game.

I really want to know

I would like things like, less accuracy for when shot in the arm or less movement speed when shot in the leg.

These should be persistent until you respawn.

In real life people have something called adrenaline, it makes them able to cope with a lot more than you'd expect. There have been reports of people getting shot and not even feeling it until their adrenaline wore off.

If you really want to kill a person, aim your shot directly at keypoints such as the heart, head or nuts, and with bolt action rifles the torso and stomach are almost always one shot as well.

Compared to the times folks get shot and aren't able to move/fight on, those events are rare. It's not really combat "fact" that anyone who gets shot can keep on going because of adrenaline, its still a rare thing and tbh nothing that should be modeled in-game.

True, but is typically has a devastating impact on fine motor movements, like aiming a rifle.

That requires focus, steady breating and calm. Not adrenaline.

wow finally we can agree on something ;) I think you should be able some wounds but there should be some who are to bad to simpyl bandage or when you have no bandages left a shoot in the leg should slow you down a shot in the arm addin real sway ect

I don't think the problem lies in the wound system itself, but with the possibility to keep on fighting after you've been wounded as if nothing happened, so many times I've hit a guy's non-vital part and he still was able to full sprint and hide or operate his gun and kill me. One thing that I enjoyed about ro1 was the very common 1 hit 1 kill shot (even with smgs), a thing that i've come to see less often in ro2. If I got hit in the leg the impact should make me fall, if in the arm i should drop my weapon etc. and after that i shouldn't be able to go back to full combat capability... all this stuff is missing...
Also the slow death thingy is plain stupid, the screen goes black when I am still able to aim and shoot for 5 seconds lol...common...

The body reaction to shots in RO2 it's amazing. Yesterday I shot a guy in the left shoulder and his body lift it a little before collapsing. I killed another one while he was running, the way he fell to the ground made me

Didn't day of defeat have it so getting hit made you lose your stamina, that worked pretty well to stop melee chargers.

Agree, at the moment if you bandage wound, it's like miracle heal, all pain and damage are insta removed.
Also when someone is hitting you with pistol or rifle, that shouldnt be insta kill as it is always now, what if you are wearing steel helmet? I promise wear german ww2 steel helmet if someone want to come hit it with Nagant revolver, I dont think it do any damage at all.

But you can't make it worse. We all want RO2 to be realistic at some extent, but if you add limitations when someone is wounded, you'll make the player to commit suicide running to enemy positions, looking for a fresh respawn.

It's something unavoidable

I doubt this will be the case.

The killboard goes a 100 Mph already, I doubt anyone would live long enough for it to become a real bother.

Also, I would just like to have it acknowledged that I got shot. It doesn't need to be anything too drastic. Right now it's just.

'' Oh got shot in the leg by a large caliber bullet. Well that's okay, I'll just slap a bandages on it and it should be totally fine to support my full weight again ''

Well, didn't think that for sure, but I'm positive something can be done without that, how about hit in the arm make drop weapon like it was in RO:Ostfront, loved that feature, why that is not implemented.

Yeah, get hit in the arm, increases weapon sway for both hip and aimed fire. get hit in the leg, movement slows a little bit.

I think something like that wouldn't be too hard to implement, and would add to the game experience.
