In RO1 you could see what firing mode you used but in this game the only way you know now is by remembering what firing mode you use or retapping 6.
Its better to have this in the hud.

When you switch your firing mode, a line of text appears in the bottom left of your screen saying that you switched your firing mode. Perhaps it should notify you if you switched semi or full auto, but I don't think one needs anything more than that.

If for some reason I forget what firing mode I have set, I squeeze off a few rounds and then I know.

I do remember that in RO:CA and RO1 when you switched your firing mode, it'd show you an animation of you flicking a switch with your thumb on the STG44.... but I remember a problem with that was that you couldn't switch while running. You had to either stop and switch or walk and switch..... which could sometimes make you an easy target or chew up time when you get to your desired location, when you could just switch it on the fly while running.

Besides, flicking your thumb isn't that much of a complicated process that you'd have to stop everything to do it.

You can check everything in this game, how many ammo you got, where you are hurt, where to go, etc. but you cant check your firing mode which I find rather bizar.

It's inconvenient how the indication appears in chat. I don't think the chat is for things like that.

Also ammo left in PTRS mag appears in the middle of the map. What's that about?
