Independence of TWI and AMG

Title says it all, we all love TWI and AMG for their games and I dont want them to be like another EA or Activision eaten studio, that might be closed after few years.
From each side it is definitely better to be independent studio because in other way, community will start to hate everyone and the most likely possible course of events is Dying of a community.
Publishers always hunting for money, but of course, money is a main target for everyone, but some guys like TWI and AMG more thinking about making a game of their dream, rather than money hunting.

So what do you think about future of TWI and AMG? Will there be some significant changes? And is it so much better to stay independent?

Well, I am against TWI getting picked up by bad boy EA or something. But, I am also for it if KF3 would be a massive game with an epic unlock system with advanced crafting and what have you.
