Incompatible version error (?!)

I'm trying to set up my first RO dedicated server and I'm encountering a problem when I try to connect with my client.

"This copy of RO:Ostrfront is not compatible with the server you are trying to connect to."

I've verified the integrity of my files in Steam for the client, and ran the hldsupdatetool just now to make sure that the dedicated server was up to date, and both were. I can connect to any other server with my client, and in the information box in the server browser, it shows that my dedicated server's version is the same as all the other versions out there.

There are no mods or mutators running on either server or client. In the server's command prompt box, it shows Steam Error 6.

Anyone having any suggestions on this? I'm kind of at a loss.

You will need change users in steam even if your the only user. It works I had the same problem last night. You should get a second update that was released after RO. Once you click on RO after the update it will auto validate your client files.

Bring up Steam window, goto file-->change user--> log back into steam

I should've clarified. I've done this too. Forgot to mention that in the original post. But I have gone to file-->change user and logged into steam again. I am the only user.

Out of curiosity, why would it do this for only my server? Like I said, I can connect to any other server out there, just not mine.
