Would it be possible to have historical figures showing up on present and future maps as objectives and/or participants?

For example, German commander Paulus could be holed up in the Univermag (Fallen Fighters). The Sovs could take him out for major bonus points, but would still only win the round by the regular means (capping, etc.). In a similar fashion, the Germans might be able to take out Chuikov in another scenario.

And it would be nice to have somebody like Vasily Zaitsev show up perhaps as a super-elite marksman bot...

I don't know if this has been suggested yet (did NOT see it in the sticky), or if it is technically feasible, but it's my two cents' worth and I hope it is worth some consideration.

i like the idea of having a high ranking bot that could be taken out. points could be awarded for defending him as well. the zaitsev idea doesn't work at all for me though! although it would be fun to sneak up on him and take him out.

Thank you for disagreeing with my suggestion, but may I respectfully ask for your reasons rather than the facepalms. I mean no disrespect in asking and hope you will respond. :)

May your question be answered.

First about Paulus and Chuikov on Fallen fighters.
Apart from the fact thet these 2 never set foot at the square at the time of battle, it would be pretty ridiculus for two such high ranking officers (commanders of the 6th German and 62nd soviet armies) to be in direct combat like that.

Also it is very likely that they would pretty much instantly fu*king die since people would learn where their spawn is at so 20 seconds after the match starts comrade chuikov would get a fat HE shell in the face from the PanzerIV. Or if he is in such a position that the enemy doesn't have a direct way to kill him there would be people always trying to charge in and kill him. That equals waste of manpower for a little more that a stupid bunch of points. (keep in mind that these don't make you win the battle neither)
If neither of this happens , the last will surely do.
They are bots, and given how mentally retarded the bots are in RO2 its not hard to figure out that they would probably charge out of their spawn mindlessly with their nice hats and pistols, maybe land 1-2 headshots at mega range and after that either get mowed down by an MG bot from the PzIV or get sniped by a marksman.

Now about Zaitsev, hero of stalingrad and mega sniperbot.
Seriously?
Imagine this. you have Zaitsev the super elite dude hiding somewhere (really hard to imagine since I never ever saw a bot in RO2 to be even in prone position let alone trying to be sneaky) and he sees germans at long range. He procedes to shoot. At 200 meters in less than 15 seconds he lands 5 headshots at running germans reloads and does it 2 more times. Then our little wannabe Major K
