in game voice?

i know it has been brought up before, but there wasn't a definitive statement on it. is there going to be and in-game voice system, maybe with the ability to create separate (and lockable) rooms/squads? . . .a la bf2's nice gui?

i know you are all about surprises, but i would appreciate any crumb of info you can give.

I hope ROOST implements a separate vehicle voice channel. Preferably with the ability to activate with a different key.

That way when you want to communicate to your vehicle mates ("Enemy tank at 3 oclock!") instead of causing confusion with the other tanks or infantry, you just have to hit a separate key*

Right now you have to bother switching channels first, then talking, then switching channels back.



*I just realized I could make complicated alias/bind to do this to local channel, which should work...when pressed, activate local channel, deactivate team channel, activate record, onrelease deactivate record, deactivate local, activate team.
