This might be a rather bizarre question, but how many magazines do you intend to give to players? I've always hated when I'm given 6 magazines. If we take a look at the infantry combat during Vietnam there was a lot of suppression fire involved, having a plentiful amount of ammunition would probably help translate it to the game.

Amazing skins! I would prefer a random variation of the way they look though. Don't want people picking 1-2 out of 4 because of their cool factor or skin color.

Same. Should be a random probability based off of real life distribution. A simple google search tells me African Americans were about 12.5% of Vietnam troops. So a 12.5% probability sounds fair. It also says Hispanics were about 5.2% of troops, so it would be nice to be represented even if it's just a simple skin tone change. :p

So far, we've only really shown US Army, and since in particular we're only talking about infantry,The percentages of minority soldiers in Vietnam were actually a little bit higher then that number (based on google-searches mind you.. I don't personally have any hard data on the numbers)

Either way, I'm pretty sure we're not basing it on class.. we're not trying to be a certain unnamed EA franchise afterall ;]

So if you are not getting the "cool" looking player model, nobody should <.< This concept of living is very popular around here (sadly) - "I am screwed and so does everyone else." :D

I agree with him. It'd be a bit of an immersion breaker for me if the majority of the US team consisted of bearded people with toilet paper wrapped around their forehead and their helmets hanging off their boots.

I don't understand what your are arguing. Personally I would pick the "Cool" looking one like everyone else, but it would break my immersion(and many others) seeing only a few player models.

In the final part of our feature on US Army multiplayer classes, we will be taking a closer look into the roles of the Marksman, Gunner and Non-Commissioned Officer, with full load-out information and interactive, 360

Love the MG class. You should add another short belt of bullets on his helmet :p Btw what happened with the Medic class? I remember you guys were trying to find a way to implement it.

Its awesome to see all of the hard work that has been done. ICV will not be vaporware, and that makes me excited.

Its interesting to note that - ICV will be the first fully community made mod to feature a whole new front to fight on. It will be a great accomplishment! I personally think that ICV will pull back a good amount of players who were searching for a realistic Vietnam FPS game.

Reminds me of that mission in Vietcong where aerial reconnaissance identifies elements of a NVA armoured column, prompting a panic at the US base; when your team finds them, the tanks turn out to be burnt-out Renault hulks from the Indochina war :D

Now, the First Vietcong game and its Expansion are awesome. Need to replay them sometime!
