Hey everybody. Hope everyone's having a good Holiday week!

I've been in many situations in which I've had to reload my weapon when an enormous wave of zombies are attacking simultaneously.

I find myself unable to switch to a new fully-loaded weapon until the entire reload sequence of my current gun is complete.

For instance, if I expend all of the rounds in my AK47 as a Commando and wish to switch to my SCAR MK17 to finish off a dangerous rush of enemies, I have to wait for the AK47 to completely reload first before being able to switch to the SCAR MK17.

Is there any possibility that we could be able to cancel our reloading sequence to switch to a new fully-loaded weapon? In many cases, this would be a huge lifesaver in clutch situations.

The weapon that we cancelled our reload from will remain at its last capacity until it is completely reloaded.

Is slightly annoying when I hit the R button just as a gorefast, siren or something limps around the corner... Specially after beating off a Scrake or FP :)

A CSS like quick swap where if the reload animation isn't completed the weapon isn't reloaded would be very cool imo

Personally I think haveing to time your reloads adds that little bit of personal restriction to the game.

That said, I wouldn't mind if it was changed as mentioned.

Agreed.

I mean there has been alot of attention to detail in this game and it makes no sense that I can't stop reloading once it has been started. If I stop reloading obviously the reload didn't happen...I don't see what the problem is with that.

lol the css reloading is so much useful such as reloading you can immediately switch you ur secondary or even your knife

Only thing I might change over CSS is when you reload in CSS and cancel your current clip remains in the gun. EVEN if you got as far as actually puling the mag out of the gun. I would reckon that should you cancel at this point in the animation, your gun should have no bullets loaded in the gun.

Would give a positive and a negative point to reload cancelling :)

I don't know about you guys, but usually when I pull off killing an FP, another FP jumps on me.
As long as reload cancel isn't buggy/exploitable i'm all for it. it does get annoying once you click on empty mag and it goes into reload

Yeah, that's the money right there lol. You described what I wanted perfectly and in fewer words :)

I think it would be ideal to have the reload cancel just like in CS:S when you reload and quick swap to a sidearm/etc.

Instantly interrupt healing animation? Sure, why not, 2 seconds and you are ready to go!
Interrupt reload animation? NO F***ING WAY!

I find it odd that reloading a weapon is paramount to switching to a pistol to finish off the enemy, or simply equiping the knife to run to a safe distance before being eaten alive. Why or why is reloading your weapon so important to get yourself killed over? :p

hmm not me, when i finish the ak47 clip, i click to best weapon and i continu with scar mk17.....no problem
try it :D
