Hello,

This is my first thread and I am new to red orchestra, I have a couple problems and I would very much appriate some help!

First problem: this game freezes on me often, I will make a practice game or join a online game and the darn thing will freeze. It seems when shots are fired near me it for some reason freezes  I don't know what to do, I have to turn off my computer (the bad way) and restart which really sucks!

The second problem is that my game doesn't run very smooth. Meaning when I turn and move etc. it doesnt happen clear & smooth. It is almost watching frame per frame sometimes.

Anyways if someone can help me that would be great :D I look foward to playing with u guys, if it works good :)

Thanks for the help guys, I will do my best to give you my "specs". On the outside of my computer it says 3400+ AMD Athlon 64 processor 1.0GB PC3200 memory and 200GB 7200RPM hard drive

I don't know much about this kinda stuff so I will do my best, under my computer properties it says 1.81 GHz, 896mb of RAM

I still need to read more into that link provided, thanks.

Here again because someone said post below instead of above :p

try http://www.redorchestragame.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11052

Well thanks for the link, I found it okay (both times) lol. Sadly this did not fix the problem... I tried 128 and 256 and neither fixed it. 128 made it work better but the fact of the matter is I still freeze every time a grenade is thrown and I still freeze the odd time with machine gun fire.

To add to the problem (unrelated) my F**Kin wireless mouse no longer works.... YES it still has bettery and the laser works... but it will just randomly stop working. Ironicly it started to not work when i was about to change the number for the ram number thing. The USB plug has been unplugged and replugged in with no luck. I also tried a new usb port.

Why does my computer keep screwing me over? If anyone can further help me that would be great. These problems are soo deppressing :(

****ty integrated graphics. Upgrading to a decent dedicated graphics card would most likely dramatically increase your computer's game performance.

Agreed, an actual graphics card (different than the integrated graphics on the motherboard) would probably help immensely.

If your Main board has a free video slot it would be the best thing to look into.
You would also free up a bit of ram.

Its just a question of

if you look at the front of your computer where the cd drives are located etc.

Then open up the panel on the left of that (unless there is a warranty sticker) on it. (should have 2 screws on the back and then you should be able to slide it off). So all you have to do is open the casing not having to touch any of the components inside that basically form your computer.

at the back you see lots of horizontal slots where you can add extension cards take a picture of that ^^.

like the picture here the brown slot (with a white bar around it) is the videoslot the white slots are pci slots etc.

If you don't feel like doing this you can give as much info on the system as possible and we can try to find stuff about it. Its basically the motherboard were interested in here.
