how did you fill in the screw holes?

How do you mean? The hardest part was drilling out the welded in screws the Soviets cut off in it during the refurbishment. The threads were still there. Of course I didn't have to do it since I had Frank Robertson do it. The guy I'd bought the rifle from had already knocked out the welded in pins.

Yeah, I loaded up then. I have around 4,000 rounds of LB and HB from various nations in 7.62x54r, and around 3,000 rounds of 50's and 70's Yugo. 8mm. I have other ammo types, but not in those quantities.

All of it has gone up, especially the 8mm.

No, they just ship them two to a standard cardboard box. (I've bought 5 cans of the stuff from them).

A Carbine is by definition a shorter version of a/the rifle version, used to be for cavalry.

I'd consider the AKS-74U a carbine, definitely not a submachine gun. It still fires the standard AK round afaik. (even though it's an SMG in CoD4)
