[Tuning] If you hang/crash at the splash screen!

At least that what it says in the steam Library. More like 2 hours of attempting to get it to work,run,load. Cant get a dump file. Anyone working on this? Checked integrity of game files 3 times. Bought a better graphics card to make sure. Had to upgrade my power supply ,Deleted files , Re-uploaded, rechecked files. UnrealEngine3 <not responding> . Played RO for years without a problem. Helped test Darkest Hour, No problems.

For me guys it was Punkbuster.... definitely, if i tried updating pb i would crash or get errors and kicked from game.
I loaded a fresh win7 install today, updated drivers etc, game loaded and ran but had pb errors, tried fixing it and then i started crashing on load screen, I had created a restore point before i dicked around, restored and it ran fine just with the pb error, which the below fixed.
Try uninstalling pb using add/remove programs, check its gone from here...
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\red orchestra 2\Binaries\Win32
download pbsetup here... http://www.evenbalance.com/index.php?page=dl-hos.php
Add game (Red Orchestra 2) you may have to browse to the right folder (the one above) update, let it do its thing.
This may work for one or two of you.

Have been away for over a week so just got a chance to try this.
Found 45 files and deleted .. then validate cache.
Got a message:
"45 files failed to validate and will be reacquired."
Waited for download .. launched game .. and same issue.
The game won't load beyond the splash screen.
I am ready to return the game to Best Buy .. way more time and trouble then it's worth!!!
If any of you are crashing on splash screen if you have tried most of the fixes would you mind trying the fix that works for me, then if it is a cure for one or two TWI may look into it.
It only takes a few minutes, i have to do this each day i play.
Right:
1) Uninstall pb in add/remove programmes

Mine doesn't crash at splash screen .. it never gets past the splash screen, just as many others here have posted in this and other threads.

Ok, I bought the game recently and got the files and updated etc. I installed everything and tried to run the game... on the splash screen i get the rogame.exe error. Thus i can't even get into the game. I've tried all the tips and supposed fixes i could find on the forums and by using google. NOTHING has worked.

No reason why I have to make such a huge effort to try to get this game to work. Can not get a dump file. Last log dmp file in RO2 was over a gig in size. Crashed my notepad just trying to look at it. Deleted the game, reinstalled 3 times already. I did not have this much problems with IL-2 Sturmovic and all the huge files that needed to be loaded for ultra pack,and all the new versions that came out every few months. Sorry tripwire . You guys really dropped the ball on this one.

Just downloaded the latest update, but the game still hangs at the splash screen.
I always get a Microsoft error report with some dmp files in a temp folder.
Would those be of any help if I can upload them?

OK, going again with the logging parameter (my game hangs usually during the splash screen, producing no log, no dmp and will start after many tries).
I have added the copy from the commandline output, there it hangs usually after "Log: PhysX GPU Support: ENABLED". I also added a log from a successful start maybe for comparing it.
