This is such bull the people with the DE already own the game weather they like it or not. what the real story?Yes that was exactly what I saidI said a lot of people will PERCEIVE it as a demo. If the game was going to be finished already when we do the DDE beta, we'd just release the game! But there is a certain category of bugs, balance, and polish that DDE guys will help with. The rest we'll nail first.

UH really he just called it a demo. A beta is Implying about a month before realease. and that with all that very soon bs. add every one on these forum USED TO say they a good dev team they wouldn't jerk us around on and on and on. 4 week almost nothing and thier still filling us with crap

Yep , it's a beta . It has bugs . Pretty much all of them being of the annoying , ankle biter variety like the one previously mentioned about not being able to move.
Ones that the RO1 hardcore would shrug off but a newer player would cry bloody murder about.
And , yep, some funny bugs. But again , just little stuff . It's things I've seen AAA titles ship with. If they weren't perfectionists and gamers themselves they'd have just launched the open beta already.

You need to calm down just a little bit, go make some tea or somthing , maybe sleep ? its just a game in the end (one you payed money for) but its nothing to get all angry over. =D
Do us a favor, contact steam, get your money back. Go play call of duty and **** off.
TWI doesnt get the money till they release the game. They arnt sitting there laughing counting out hundreds while we wait.
Just a question. Does Steam show if it's the Digital Deluxe version? Mine just says Red Orchestra 2, even thought I bought the DDE.
I am absolutely stunned by the elitism/entitlement nature of some of the posters in this thread. I don't give a rip if "you paid and you deserve..." I paid my $39.99 too. Yep, you saw that correctly -- that was a THREE followed by a NINE followed by a DOT and then followed by a pair of NINEs. $39.99. Last time I paid that much for a major title? Hmmmm. I think CoD1.
I think RAMM did a hellacious job of staying extraordinarily civil in his response. If I were with TWI, there are several who posted here that I would have personally sent them back their $39.99 and told them thanks for coming, sorry this doesn't appear to be the game for you.

No... if we wanted to squeeze extra dosh out of people, we'd charge for map packs, new weapons and new vehicles. And we'd price the base game at $59.99...
I think just over 5Gb... but I'll check once I get in the office.
There will be a full game pre-load, but we'll probably just punch the beta out there as soon as we are ready with it, just to save time.
It won't be a "3-day early access demo". We actually do need/want the volume of RANDOM people playing the game. Right now, as John said, we're picking off some stupid problems that would actually stop people playing - having tens of thousands of people telling us they are stuck and can't play wouldn't be helpful. 100s of servers telling us that Pavlov is a biased towards Germans on Countdown IS useful.
I just KNOW I shouldn't respond to this one... But if it is that big a problem for you - please do go back and get a refund. Wait for the feedback from the beta and the reviews, then decide if you really do or don't want to buy the game. We'd really rather people wait until they hear the game is actually, really great before buying it than getting all uptight about risking a pre-purchase.

But I do understand that people feel "entitled" to some extent - they've paid over money (even if it doesn't get to us until after we release the finished product) and they want to get hands on. It may make life even more stressful for us - but that is a load better than no-one being interested!- Status
