I love the RO2 death screams and moans. It increases the realism and overall experience for me. Wouldn't it be epic if tanks blew up and you see the crew members coming out of the tank on fire and screaming in pain.

I thought the moaning was a nice immersive touch, but after hearing a grown Russian man sobbing like a child asking for his mother after I stabbed him in the back it really threw me off. I stood around for what felt like a minute listening to it and was quite disgusted with it, it was just kind of too much.

I laughed out loud when a Russian soldier was mocking the Germans as cowards while he was bleeding out, but these other really long tragic deaths really rubs me the wrong way. I like the movie realism in all other voice work but some of this stuff is too dark and too real. I've watched way too much real life snuff material and this game is bringing that imagery back to me.

This game plays and feels like a war flick with huge production values, but some of these details are needlessly dark and emulates a reality that should not be considered entertainment.

Thats in pretty bad taste. I think the death gurgles are really scraping the boundaries of about how far you can take game violence, and it's probably good enough.

Dying in a tank is a partiality nasty way to go, literally being cooked alive inside a metal box, or getting gunned down as you are trying to escape the said being cooked alive in a metal box...
