8th June 2009: Iceberg Interactive today announced that they will be the European publishing partner for Killing Floor. We're really happy to have them on board going forward and will be working with Iceberg to get the game into stores across Europe just as quickly as we can. More to follow on the retail versions...

No working pic.
But, very nice! This means that they publish in all countries?
If so, you should have done this for RO years ago! :)
Hell, do it now, i'll buy another retail copy! :p

Edit: just read that RO is included in the deal!
This means that RO might get into the Dutch stores now as well? Maybe a re-launch coming up?

This is what is bugging me:

[...]The retail version to be released by Iceberg Interactive will also have several extra features over the downloadable version.[...]

Slap in the face of all Steam-Store users, or just a tactic to make the
addicts buy it again as retail?

Why you do this to us who bought and supported you from the beginning? :(

before this turns into some kind of preemptive emowank, why dont you guys wait for a statement from Tripwire themselves about what differences (if any) there will be between digital and physical copies of the game.

Totally agree! I don't see what difference it makes having the retail copy or the steam copy installed on your machine. Whatever extras they might add to the retail version, will automatically be available through steam for those who bought the game digitally. Everything else would be moronic IMHO.

Tell that to EA, for their Battlefield 2142 release, people who pre-ordered through best-buy got an exclusive weapon; though it wasn't exactly better than the others of its kind so it wasn't that much of an issue. But regardless, I hope there is no exclusive in-game stuff given to anyone because of where they bought it.

On the "why": because the retailers still have a terror of Steam and need some extra persuasion to take the game in-store.

On the "what": this is likely to include some printed materials (we did map-cards and vehicle data cards for RO). It is very hard to get printed materials distributed digitally (irony there). If it is artwork, we'll make the digital versions available online so you can print them yourselves. It may also inlcude some digital materials, in which case they can be made available online later too.

No need to have a cow :)

I had the cow already (Valve made me have it)

Any word on a U.S. Distributor? I know for a fact word of mouth as really helped this game as 4 of my vent buddies got the game just hearing me play or watching me over x-fire.

Any possibilites for Turkey? I'm sure a deal right now for Killing Floor would pave the way for a RO:HoS release too!

Also quoting the publishers site

Red Orchestra was originally released in 2007. Iceberg Interactive will re-release the game in several european territories and the game will also be bundled with Killing Floor.
