I think the next patch should be focused on community complaints.

I'm sorry I don't see every question asked, but as it has been noted:

Both games modes were pushed post launch. When we have more to share on them we will. However we are still prioritizing performance and several categories of bugs before anything else.

Thanks for the response Yoshiro .. That is all I ask for was a response to my question, although I was hoping that you would at least have a tentative date after 2 months.

I have also asked this question in other threads with no response, and the reason for my negative post above.

Maybe you will have better news in the near future.

No, terrible ideal!

First finish and release the final version of the RO2:SDK! Then people can start truly working on new maps. then in about 60 days we will hit a pinnacle of new maps coming online and Tripwire working out all the bugs, problems and details.

Yeah, let's have a bunch of new maps to add to the list that nobody wants to play because of bug, performance and gameplay issues, and make sure they never come back because there's no fix to a game screwed up since day 1 of DDE release for nearly half a year.

Oh, what a WONDERFUL idea! Keep 'em coming, ok? I'm looking forward to the implementation of square car wheels, myself ...

No. RO1 was made by a group of modders with a fairly shared vision. If the "Community" that is found on the forums was in charge of development, we wouldn't even have a playable game yet,

Ah, so "we" have a "playable" game, hmmm? Glad to hear that hit reg at close quarters works for "you," "you" have decent fps and ping without stutter, etc. After all, it's all about "you" and not all the "idiots" in the "community."

Ah, so "we" have a "unplayable" game, hmmm? Unfortunate to hear that hit reg at close quarters doesn't work for "you," "you" have a crappy fps and ping with stutter, etc. After all, it's all about "you" and not all the "idiots" in the "community."

Not trying to cause a fuzz Stahlhelmii, I can understand that you feel like your money is wasted. I can understand that you want to see it fixed A.S.A.P.

But seriously, read your own paragraph and then the edited version I made. Do you get the point? For some it works, for some it doesn't but that doesn't mean it's absolutely needed to critize the people that do have the game working.

What he was trying to explain is that fixing things takes time, you might as well calm down and give them the time to do so, because constantly emphasizing that this game needs fixing is unneeded.
Both the developers and the community know that Red Orchestra 2 still has a long way to go in order to reach it's full potential.

I'm sorry. Let me rephrase that.

"The Vast Majority of us" instead of "we".

I also said "Playable", not "Flawless". Yes I've died more than a few times to someone I've "Shot" before he shot me. I've been enjoying games despite this since Doom when I was king of all my geek friends because I had a computer with a 100mhz processor and a full 28.8kbs modem or whatever it was.

what planet do you live on?

the only community complaint that was adressed in the past like 3 weeks was the iron sight glitch
I personally sent them a list of some of the problems with spectator mode and they fixed many of them in the two patches after. That pretty much defines addressing community complaints.

The last 2 patches did address community complaints, and they did a fantastic job addressing them quickly.

How many of them, really?

Take a good long look at the board. Write down the most discussed community complaints and then write down what TWI have addressed. Of course they need time to address them - but they haven't as a matter of fact done that yet, so something that isn't done shouldn't be seen as done. Performance, bugs, and glitches are priority one. Everything else, second, and this is understandable. However, if they address most of the community complaints is another story since doing that would go agianst the whole direction they wanted this game to head in the first place. So my bet is that modders will save them and keep the game alive. Agian.

Number of assault and semi-auto weapon is still imba.
I'm aware that's apartments - CQF map in HoS - however there is a point - number of bolt rifles still should be around 60-75% of total players.
Now we still have:
13 assault/semi/LMG players and 3+1 bolt action players which is ~22% of total (and new players still can take another assault or two LMGs).

Solution is quite simple, change loadout to:
1x TL
1x SL
2x MG
1x marksman
1x elite
1x assault (+ MKB/AVT available only for hero)
rest bolts

That would give us
6 auto/semi/lmg weapons and ~10 bolts on 32 players server. It is really way simple to improve gameplay and bring back some players back to HoS.

Another option is: make loadouts same as they were in RO:O.

Edit: community also requested to remove mobile spawn point ability from SL, if so we can permanently remove him from game and add one more assault or semi.

Here's the thing, if we had the ability to use historic load outs and the same manpower as a real platoon of that time frame, MGs and SMGs should make up about 17-21% of the man power. Though the issue with that is, once the unit takes losses, your in fact quite often just losing rifle men, as the SMG/MG guy(s) is always going to be their (because their the squad/platoon leaders & MG gunners).

In any case that's five SMGs and four LMGs, unless we want panzergrenadier or 1943 Russian infantry platoons... Which would be about 30% of the manpower with a MG or a SMG (both platoons had six LMGs and three squad leaders and a platoon commander, never mind the armored panzergrenadiers had a spare SMG in the APC...).

Never mind the load outs in RO2 are not to far off from many RO1 map load outs.

Then we get into the issue with Semi autos and "automatic rifles", Semis can be conceivably suited at 2 or 3 per team, the MkB and AVT should just be one, Snipers no more than two, same with the AT and Engineer classes (who should have an option for a bolt).
